[Anita Hillin] I found Sirius' behavior to be psychologically accurate,
given he is once again living in a house he has not inhabited since he was
16. That he would revert to earlier, less mature behavior, especially since
his mother is present, albeit via her portrait, is entirely consistent with
my observations, going back to my hometown regularly. Sirius was a
restless, angry young man in his own home, beset by his mother's abuse and
surrounded by reminders of his difference compared to his family. All those
16-year-old emotions would return, and they would intensify during the times
he had no distractions in the form of others visiting the house or Order
meetings. He might even find himself projecting his relationship with James
onto Harry, since that was bound to have been a large part of his salvation
at 16.
akh, who rarely stays up past 10 p.m., until she goes back home and gets
together with her old college buddies, when she stays out all night.
Scandalous behavior for a 49-year-old!
