The Sergeant Majorette says:

Once upon a time there was a kid whose parents got whacked. Their
friends found his mother's sister and sent the kid to live with her
and her husband and son. When the kid was 11, he was about to
register for the local high school, but then he got a letter to go to
his parents' old school, so he went. It turned out to be a school of
witchcraft and wizardry because the kid was a wizard. He learned to
make potions and do magic and fly on a broomstick. He got to be a
star player in school sports. His best friend was a kid who had five
brothers and a kid sister, and he had this other friend, a girl whose
parents were dentists. This other kid kept trying to beat him at
stuff but he couldn't. The gang that whacked his parents kept trying
to get to the kid, but the kid and his friends were too slick and
also the school principal, who was protecting the kid, knew people
who knew bigger people than the people trying to whack the kid. A
couple of guys on the kid's side got careless, so they got killed.
But all the teachers were very supportive each in their special way
so after the principal got the government on the kid's side, the rest
of the bad gang realized that what they had done was wrong and turned
state's evidence in return for reduced sentences; the bad guy who had
the kid's parents whacked got life without parole.

Moral of the story: all happy families are alike; nice guys finish
first, which is not necessarily a good thing...
