For what it is worth, there is a word 'Droober' which means "someone 
who travels over rough country, an off-road traveller". It dates from 
mid-16th century English. JKR has resurrected 'dumbledore' and 
similar wonderful old words so its just possible she intended this 
reference and didn't intend the suggestion of Droobing implying 
Dribbling (spit from the mouth)...

Someone with a tought journey over unknown country would describe the 
Neville we see emerging...
