There might be something in the snakes, or in the giant head (who would want to

Yep. Which is why I was yelling at the book for Harry to have the meetings

I don't think it was picked clean. And I can't help but wonder if Dumbledore
has some knowledge of the chamber, perhaps in some books left to the
Headmasters that only Dumbledore bothered to flip though.
