I'm not sure she has. It's not one of those situations where there's
only one way to do this. My point isn't that Hermione is necessarily
handling it wrongly - just that there are other ways to handle it that
might explain why we don't see anyone else doing it. I don't think those
ways are necessarily better - but they can happen.
Hermione also has a threat I never thought of ("I'll write to your
mother"). If I'd had something like that up my sleeve, things might have
