Salazar Slytherin be going age to age...Do we find the final chapter
in this saga ending with a person (harry) that has BOTH Slytherin AND
Griffindor (sp) blood in them? And ultimately the choice that he
makes is what stops the cycle? Harry would most likely be that
person, and the mistake was Voldemorts. He knew the phrophecy and
instead of killing the next heir of Griffindor's bloodline
(Neville)...instead marked Harry...a combination of Godric
Griffindor's line (from his father) and Salazar Slytheri's bloodline
(from his Mother) and thus has the power to fulfill the phrophecy and

term struggle...>>>

The Sergeant Majorette says:

Makes sense to me. I was getting tired of Voldemort popping up again
and again like Rasputin in a Monty Python skit. And a supervillain
who strikes fear into the hearts of men with an anagram? Pooh. I've
always thought that Petunia is a squib and that Lily (contrary to Tom
Riddle's opinion and Dumbledore's statement to Harry) is a descendent
of Slytherin.

This theory also gives us a way out of the "how do we know he's
really dead this time" maze.

Now all I need for complete happiness in this world is for the
Weasley clan to provide the heirs to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff (yeah,
yeah, both females, patrilineal inheritance: I say, mitochondrial
DNA, so there!) Then Harry can marry Ginny, reproduce, and all four
founders can rest in peace.
