I liked your insights-thank you.  I did not know about JKR's mother's 
illness.

Could you expound for me on the above comment?  Has canon shown us 
Lupin is a Gryffindor?  I probably missed it and it could be 
important.  Over the last several weeks there have been all kinds of 
speculation about the houses of the marauders.

JKR interviews clearly state that Hagrid, James and Lily were all 
Gryffindor.  Does anyone have an interview comment or canon to show 
Lupin, Black's or Pettigrew's house?
