There has been so much discussion on the lists since OOTP that I have missed
a lot of it, so pardon me if this has already been addressed. But I've been
wondering about a couple things.
1. Sirius' comment that all pureblood families are interrelated. Assuming,
as I think most do, if it is not fact - that Snape is from a pureblood
family, what about the theory that he might be related to Sirius, or Harry - While I
like the Perseus Evans theory, in case that doesn't pan out, is it too "out
there" to think he could still end up related to James, Sirius, or other
characters. I'm especially thinking Sirius, since it seems both family's were into
the Dark Arts judging by Sirius' comments in OOTP, and Snape supposedly
knowing so much of the DA by the time he got to Hogwarts.
2. Time-turner. I wonder sometimes, if at the end of the series, JKR might
have the timeturner used to go back and change the whole beginning of the
series. Are there limits on the timeturner? It would seem it could be used to go
back and correct a lot of problems, stopping the rise of LV, etc. Perhaps
that's how D'Dore knows how things will turn out and lets Harry get into
dangerous situations, knowing he can use the TT to go back and help in the case that
Harry & Co. fails.
Just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts or insight on these topics.
