I agree with Kirstini. There will probably not be a
gay figure in the books that is actively written
about. The most I can see JKR doing with homosexuality
is "He's gay, next topic" sort of thing. Even if Snape
and/or Sirius are gay, there is not enough written
about either of them (and no more about Sirius) to say
one way or another. All we see in the books is Harry's
POV and his POV of what his friends are. I would not
count out homosexuality in the books, but I doubt that
there will be an issue lasting more than two lines.
