Me: So we have all these ghosts. Now I wonder whether it is possible 
for a ghost to go on once he/she has fulfilled his/her task or 
understood why he/she is a ghost? Can a ghost consciously resolve to 
move on and "be gone"? 
If they could why is Moaning Myrtle still around, since she's haunted 
Olive? Does she just like the castle by now or do ghosts have to stay 
for ever? terrible thought...
