As in Trewlawney's 2nd prophecy, where the servant who was "chained"
returned to his master was not literally chained, I believe that "at
the hand of the other" is also not literal. It is by Harry's hand
that Pettigrew is alive, and owing a life debt to Harry. So if
Pettigrew causes the death of Voldemort in repayment of that life
debt, Voldemort will have died "at the hand" of Harry. Pettigrew's
silver hand may come into play, or it may be there just to draw
attention to the "hand" of the prophecy.
Wouldn't it be sweet if the 3 things that brought Voldemort back to
his body, also to be his undoing.
The bones of the father:
It is obvious from Belletrix's reaction that she does not know Tom
Riddle's father was a muggle. That knowledge could drive a wedge into
the loyalty of Voldemort's pure blood DE's -- perhaps enough for them
to abandon him to save their own skins at a time he most needs them.
The flesh of the servant:
Pettigrew's life debt to Harry turns the servant on the master.
The blood of the enemy:
Hagrid talks about Voldemort not being human anymore as the reason he
didn't die when the AK bounced off of baby Harry and struck him.
Would the blood of Harry which courses with his mother's love undo
some of Voldemort's protections against death and make him human
enough to die this time?
