Petunia's Anger & Harry's Family--Kind of Long

A thought occurred to me as I was mulling a few things in my mind.  I 
was watching the first Harry movie and was then confirmed by reading 
SS.  Petunia said "my parents were so happy, we have a witch in the 
family."  What if Lily and Petunia's parents were both Squibs and 
chose to live as muggles rather than in the magical world.  Maybe 
that is why they were so pleased to have Lily go to Hogwarts and why 
Petunia is/was so jealous of her sister and all the attention she got 
as a result of this.  (Not to mention the fact that she is hiding a 
whole lot more than what she is showing, I'd bet money on her being 
the one to develop magical powers late in life as everyone's been 
talking about on these postings lately.) What makes me think that 
their parents were squibs is the same reason Neville's relatives 
tried to prove him magical.  They wanted him to be just like them and 
they obviously are magical, whereas they (Evans) probably came from 
magical families and bombed out with no magical ability and thus were 
pleased when they had a child who could be what they couldn't be. 
Also: I'd bet money on Mark Evans being a relative that is part of 
the magical community, but living among muggles.  Remember, Harry had 
to grow up with his mother's blood and DD said he was safer growing 
up not knowing he was famous and where DE's would be able to find 
him.  If he stayed with the Evans' (Mark's family) than he wouldn't 
be as protected.  I would love to know what Mark's dad's name is! 
Wonder if he's an uncle?
