I agree this is very highly likely. She has all the right passion and
righteousness for a cause. Being in Hogwarts her actions were...
err...not very effective. Working in Ministry can enable her to make
some serious differences. I imagine Hermione could be so much more,
do something very influential for the wizard world. ;)
On the other hand I would love to see Ron to become a professional
Qudditch player, being a equal star and playing against the likes of
Krum. ;)
And I would really want Neville to become an Auror.
I don't remember how it goes exactly, didn't Rowling mention one of
the kids will become a Hogwart teacher? Most guess that that person
would be Neville, being the next Herbology teacher. But why would
they need a new one if we still have Professor Sprout? (unless she
died or resigned, god bless her!). After OOP, it occurs to me how
nice it would be if Neville would follow his parents' footstep to
become an Auror. He has undergone such amazing transformation in this
book, I'm sure he'll do great things in future too (just because he
weren't the "chosen" boy doesn't mean he's a nobody as he believed
himself to be.)
I speculate Harry will be the one to become a Hogwart teacher - the
DADA teacher. It seems to be that this running joke of the series
(the job is jinx! No DADA teacher ever survives!) was because, the
job is fated to be Harry's job. ;) It would be perfect, Harry living
in Hogwarts as his "final home". And the catch? It is to see the
reaction on Snape's face when he found out he has once again miss out
on the job, forever, to Harry Potter. (would be funnier if Harry
started calling him "Severus")
