Agreed. JKR has definitely unlocked the hidden potential that Neville 
has in ootp. It would certainly be interesting for both Harry and him 
to end up as aurors.

Actually JKR has said in an interview(http://www.the-leaky-
cauldron.org/quickquotes/articles/1999/1099-connectiontransc.html) 
that Harry would not end up as a teacher at Hogwarts. My best guess 
would probably be Ginny or Luna.
