Good point, but just how omniscient can one Dark Lord be? That'd be
really awful if he could be so powerful nothing could fool him.
Also, Snape is good at occlumency. Not to metion the possibility of
potions which could give one the "essence" of another person, or
maybe their thoughts or some such thing, therby providing some
defense against legilimency. The baddies in the graveyard are also
very anxious to have Voldemort know they're there, so he'll know how
loyal they are to show up ASAP. Maybe polyjuice potion in a powerful
enough wizard could fool even an evil overlord.
