Is DD spying through the Choc frog cards?

I think that may be a clue.  If he is using the cards, he may not be 
watching through only the cards that Harry has, but also cards any 
student is carrying - hearing what they are saying.  We know he has 
powers that others know not :-)

Another possibility that I've thought about is his watch.  It is 
mentioned in the first chapter of SS, and again during the fight at 
the Ministry.  In SS it is described has having 12 hands and planets 
revolving around the outside where the numbers would be.  It sounds a 
bit like the Weasley's clock, but I'm not sure how the planets fit 
in.  Divination a la the centaurs maybe?
