Actually, I look at Dumbledores Army as a good opportunity for a bit
of fence-mending. Harry is bound to be running out of useful spells to
teach the DA's that he already knows, and the DA's no longer having to
be underground means that Harry can seek external help. Typically, in
school clubs, you would enlist the help of one of the teachers if you
needed it.
Now, given Dumbledores record of hiring bad teachers, I rather doubt
the next DADA teacher will be of any help. Dumbledore himself could
help Harry out, but really, the logical choice would be the teacher
who earlier helped with the abortive dueling club, has Death Eater
experience, and knew more curses when he arrived at school than half
the kids in seventh year, namely Professor Snape.
Also, if Harry asked for Snapes help with the DA, it might help Snape
see Harry in a bit of a different light. It'd also give Snape an
opportunity to see Neville in a subject he is good at, and to get some
Slytherins introduced to the club. The main problem, really, would be
convincing Harry to do it...
