Hans now:

An excellent question. Well actually I must admit I was trying to provoke that one.

In my theory of HP as a description of an alchemical way to liberation, I see Harry as the power born in the heart of the person who goes the path. You will know that one of Harry's most powerful and beautiful characteristics is his compassion. Although JK Rowling doesn't use that word, a tiny bit of thinking will lead us to conclude that it is that which motivates him throughout the books. His solution for Norbert, his worry about Hermione when the troll's on the loose, his retrieval of Neville's remembrall, his liberation of Dobby, his saving of Ginny, etc. etc. Compassion is an aspect of love. When a person does succeed in liberation, this compassion becomes overwhelming. "The Voice of the Silence", and we can also read about it in "The Angel of the West Window", by Gustav Meyrink, states that the liberated human being has two choices: he/she can enter Nirvana, or he can postpone this and stay behind to become a Teacher of Compassion. This is why Christian Rosencreutz became a
gate keeper. These Teachers of Compassion form a great Brotherhood that stays behind out of compassion for umprisoned humanity. (Sorry sisters, Siblinghood doesn't have that "ring' to it, and Sisterhood sounds a bit unrealistic.) It is these brothers and sisters who inspire people who are open, to articulate the call to liberation.

I am looking forward with great anticipation to see which choice Harry will make.

Hans previously:

<<But can I ask you to consider: if it were possible that HP actually and really does give hidden instructions for total human liberation, what an explosion of rapture that should cause? Just
imagine for one second, a book that is being read by HUNDREDS of millions of people all over the world - is a secret code for liberation from death, from sickness, from suffering, from karma, from reincarnation!>>

koinonia02's response:

>>And that secret code is coming from the *source*?<<

Hans now:

Absolutely. If you will read the great epics, fairy tales, gospels and legends with an open heart you will discover they all have the same message.

Hans previously:

<<An entrance into another universe where Love is the atmosphere you breathe, where your heart is constantly and incessantly filled with (to us) unimaginable selfless ecstasy, bliss and rapture. Why? Because when Voldemort is dead that's how we feel. We are then united with the original Spirit, who IS Love.>>

koinonia02 responded:

>>Who is the original Spirit? Love? Where did this original Spirit come from?<<

Hans now:

What is the original Spirit? That can not be said. The only way to find the answer to that is to invite IT to live in our heart. Then we will know.

Where did it come from? If it had come from anywhere it would mean it had been created. The original Spirit was not created. IT created. It is the causeless cause. Harry Potter is the spark of the original Spirit in our heart.

koinonia02:

>>I'm asking these questions to try and understand what you are saying.<<

Hans now:

They're valuable questions.

koinonia02:

>>I'm not saying you are wrong on what you perceive the HP books are about. For instance, I'm guessing all Harry has to do is rid his heart of hate, fill it with love, and Voldemort will vanish. Harry has now shown us the way and it's up to all of us to do the same. Am I close?<<

Hans now:

That's definitely the message for book 5.

koinonia02:

>>[...] I love the books but I don't see any hidden message by some hidden power. If the books are supposedly given by some divine nature for the total human liberation, why is it in hidden code?<<

Hans now:

I was going to write a long, boring explanation, but someone beat me to it. She simply said, "So you'd read it, of course". I think it's best to leave it at that. (Well done and thanks whoever it was)

koinonia02:

>>I might not agree with many of your ideas but that isn't what I want to discuss. I'm just interested in your take on where JKR might be leading us, which is love conquers hate?<<

Hans now:

I don't know where JK Rowling is taking us. I just have a theory on where her INSPIRATION is taking us. So far it's worked out. I posted my prediction in April and it came out. I was just as surprised as anyone. Anyway, it's a lot more than love conquers hate, I hope. I can only repeat: the seven years of Harry's education clearly show the seven stages of liberation of the human being. We have seven vehicles, and in each year Harry, through his actions, frees one of them from its ties to this time-spatial universe. I've listed this several times, so I won't do this again now.

I haven't invented any of this; these things can be read about in numerous books. My contribution is simply the recognition of the patterns in HP. In that I'm totally original. I can assure you I have not met anyone else who sees these patterns. Until book 5 came out I thought it was all a coincidence, but when OOP followed the pattern as I had foretold my doubts vanished.

To me the real proof is the fact that the books are so popular. If it were a story without deep spiritual content, people would love it, but not in their hundreds of millions. Not in China, Argentina, Japan, Romania, etc. The appeal of HP is the archetypes hidden in the story. The ultimate truth about humanity's destination is buried within the human unconscious. Carl Gustav Jung said that the unconscious has more power in people's lives than the conscious. Well, there you are! HP resonates extremely forcefully in the archetypes within the unconscious. All I'm doing is telling this group about what I've discovered. I don't own HP, the archetypes or anything else. Go ahead and shoot it down. All I know is the recognition of the liberating message in Harry Potter has filled me with inexpressible joy and excitement.
