More Snape conundrums...

I think that Snape's memory of trying to get on a bucking broomstick 
as an adolescent rather speaks against him having been any good at 
Quidditch... On the other hand, he did referee a game in 
Philosopher's so that should mean that he is skilled in it (I think 
there's a comment in Quidditch through the Ages on how refs must be 
very good at the game)

So no clue... and we know even less about Malfoy. But yes, even four 
years appart, had they been on the same team they would have known 
each other quite well. And Lucius would have graduated by the time 
Snape gets to take his OWLs and is bullied so we don't have to 
wonder on why no friend of Snape's tried to defend him.

However, if they had been friends, why didn't Sirius mention Lucius 
among the gang of Slytherins that later became Death Eaters? Because 
lucius wasn't really in that gang yet was a DE? Because Sirius 
doesn't know that Lucius Malfoy is a DE? It's quite interesting...
