> Sirius bites it, and we start thinking that JKR plans to kill Harry,
too. I can't bring myself to think it will end that way, so I am
building my ship of denial early. Great stories have to have great
endings. I won't believe that Harry dies in the end, because it would
be so massively disappointing that I'd lose all of the faith I'd been
building up over the series (and I'm an "adult"!). It's been a long
and rocky road for our boy Harry, and my hopes are pinned on his
ultimate victory over Voldy. In his reincarnated body, I think Lord
Thingy's also returned to a mortal-killable state. More death, terror
and uncertainty are coming, but in the end, I'm betting on a "happy"
ending!
I second the motion! I think the final words of book 7 will be along
the lines of Harry looked at his reflection and the mirror and noticed
that there was no longer a trace of the scar. Lord Thingy will die at
Harry's "hands" and Harry will no longer be the Boy Who Lived but the
Man who lived...
