Yeah I  agree, probably during book 6.  Harry needs to have time to 
cope on his own and take upon the responsibility of fighting against 
Voldy.  And in order to do this he has to learn/grow/mature into a 
young man to fight him....which I don't think will be a few chapters, 
but most of book 7.  I know that sound corny, but that's my theory.
