Mental image of ancient looking Harry, with Dumbledore-like hair and
beard, sitting
at his desk by candle-light and filling pages and pages of parchment
with a
magnificent looking quill (forearm-length at least, that thing) with
a look of nostalgia
twinkling in his eyes and twitching in the corners of his mouth,
occasionally breaking
the silence by mumbling something in the lines of "Those were the
days" or "Good ol'
Neville". Then, as the sun sets outside the window behind him, he
scribbles down the
last word, signs the parchment and stacks it with the rest of them.
Old Harry rises
from his chair with a satisfied sigh, pats Fawkes tenderly, and with
a glance towards
the waving pictures of his twelve grown children, he decides to go
downstairs and
have a late snack with mrs Potter. :)
Okay sorry, I just really liked the idea. I'm with you Angel!
