I was basing my estimate on the Lexicon, which puts James and Lily's
birthdays around 1960, and their last year at Hogwarts two years
before Harry's birth.  But you're right, Rowling did say that Snape
was 35-6 in an interview bwtween GoF and OoP.  Does anyone konw
exactly what the Lexicon is basing that date on?
