I started a similar thread several days ago, but I'm willing to weigh
in again. I don't think Dumbledore will tell Fudge everything about
the OoP, simply because Fudge is Fudge. He now however unwillingly,
admits that Voldemort is back, but I don't think that means he's
ready to switch gears entirely and swing into some sort of
active "search for Voldemort" mode. He's always struck me as a
reactive rather than pro-active leader.
And, while I think Dumbledore may mention that a group of people have
been working to prepare for Vmort's return, I would hope he wouldn't
name names, especially the names of those who work in the MoM. I
still wouldn't put it past Fudge to get back at these people in some
petty way, like denying promotions or whatever, because their
allegiance was to Dumbledore and not Fudge himself.
Plus, since there are probably some MoM workers who are or were Vmort
supporters, I don't know that Dumbledore should do anything that
exposes who the OoP people are.
As far as Sirius is concerned, Dumbledore still has no proof of his
innocence. And, he has no body to prove Sirius is dead. All of the
people who saw him fall through the veil could swear to it or sign
affadavits or do whatever the Ministry thinks is appropriate, but, is
that enough? Which is not to say the Dumbledore wouldn't
say, "Sirius Black fought with us and died." He might perhaps
persuade Fudge to stop wasting Auror time looking for Sirius. But,
as for getting a formal posthumous clearing of his name? I don't
think that's in the cards yet.
And, I don't think he'll tell Fudge a lot of what Harry has
experienced over the last year in dealing with Voldemort's thoughts
in his head. It's just too weird for Fudge to deal with. I think
he'd concentrate on making sure Fudge knows that Harry (and the
Prophecy) are/were targets. And that the best thing he, Fudge, can
do is to get the Ministry prepared to deal with the next war.
