Me:
I don't think it is made clear at all that they come from "a long 
line of muggles." Lily's parents are said to be muggles, yes. But 
who's to say there's not a Squib grandparent or something?

Me:
I haven't heard that before. It certainly is interesting, given 
Harry's mum's name. I'm not sure you're not arguing against your own 
point there :D.

I think this is an interesting line of reasoning, particularly in 
light of the fact that there have been comments before about "star 
names" in the Black family, and the fact that "Narcissa" doesn't fit 
that pattern. Perhaps we're looking at the wrong pattern.

Or perhaps there's no pattern at all...I don't know.
