The emotion

While rereading OOP I noticed something I hadn't really taken note of before (don't we always?). At the end of OOP, when Voldemort is trying to possess Harry, he is thinking that he wants to die, then thinks to himself that he will be with Sirius. When he thinks of Sirius, his heart fills with emotion and Voldemort is forced to leave him.

Now, my question is what emotion filled Harry's heart there? Love? I suppose that's the simple answer, but from my experience when a loved one has just died love isn't the emotion I would feel there. More like sorrow or grief. So what was it exactly that made Voldemort leave? I know Dumbledore said it's because Harry was filled with a force that Voldemort detests. And I am assuming that the force is that which filled Harry's heart at the moment he thought of Sirius, and Voldemort had to leave. But what was it? Emotion in general? Or a specific emotion, like love or compassion?
