I hope we'll see Sirius (in some form) again, but I don't think we will... I'd thought the mysterious Christmas gift Sirius gave Harry was a diary (or something) like Tom Riddle's. I do fear that Mr. Sirius Black is gone forever.

I think Sirius, if he had a will, left Harry something critical to the storyline. Perhaps his motorbike or something from school?
