I think both of you have valid points. I didn't get into the books 
until two years ago, so I had the privilege of reading the first 4 
consecutively. It was great to be able to go from the end of one 
book right into the beginning of the other. Because of this, the 
wait for OOtP was terrible! I had gotten spoiled.

But I also agree that because we have so much time (too much, 
actually) between books, it gives us all time to discuss them 
thoroughly and to come up with ideas and theories that we may not 
have found if all the books were available to us at once.

What I most look forward to (even though I *hate* the thought of 
getting older) is telling my kids and even grandkids about what it 
was like when the books were new and how much anticipation we all 
had for the new releases.
