Speaking of which, I was wondering about Trelawney's own name.  
Sibyll of course, refers to the ancient Greek oracle.  I note that 
she is also descended from Cassandra Trelawney, Cassandra being the 
character in Greek legend who had the gift of prophecy, but was 
cursed that no one would ever believe her.  But there's a final 
puzzle: in OotP, the prophecy is labelled "S.P.T. to A.P.W.B.D."  So 
what do you suppose Trelawney's middle name is?  My guess would 
be...Pandora.
