Trip Beyond the Veil, a la Aeneas

I suspect that in the future books Harry will have to make some kind 
of journey beoynd the veil (to the underworld) in order to understand 
or have some kind of reconciliation with the idea of death, a la 
Aeneas in the Aeneid or Lyra Belacqua in the Golden Compass series.  
It would be his embrace of death (as opposed to Voldy's fleeing from 
it) that would make him able to defeat Voldy (aside from all the 
other characteristics that will enable HP to defeat him). 

Any thoughts?
