I agree.  At first I was rather relieved it not being a couple of the 
poeple I thought it would be.  I really thought it might be Hermione 
because as the brains of the threesome it made sence.  She would die 
in unhappy circumstances, come back as a ghost and be the brains 
through the next two books, at the same time struggling with Ron on 
their feelings for one another only to realize, of course, at the end 
of the series that Ron had to go on with his life.  But in reading it 
a second time I was able to grieve for Harry.
