I noticed that the prophecy in the MoM was labelled "S.P.T. to
A.P.W.B.D." If "S.P.T." is Sibyll Trelawney, what does the "P."
stand for? Of course, Rowling often packs meaning into her
names. "Sibyll" refers back to the oracle of Greek antiquity.
Trelawney is also descended from Cassandra Trelawney, Cassandra
being another Greek figure who had the gift of prophecy, but was
cursed that no one would ever believe her prophecies. Could this be
a hint that despite her seeming ridiculousness, Trelawney's
prophecies could be true? Her most persistent prediction is that
Harry will die - she's said it in every book. Based on this, my
guess is that Trelawney's middle name is...Pandora.

If you want to keep to the Greek connection, try Pythia. The name comes from the title given to the priestess who delivered the pronouncements of the Delphic Oracle, although it might be too snakey, as it in turn is derived from Python, which guarded the site before Apollo slew it.
