OK, I'm back for a bit, with a question...

You've got a heavy-duty Time Turner and can go back and advise a
certain writer and SHE HAS TO LISTEN TO YOU.

Knowing what you know now, what scenes would you change? What would
you like to have seen happen?

I am thinking of little things, really, not major plot points, but
have at what you will.

I'll give you an example from OoP.

I wonder what it would have been like had the first ghost Harry saw
when it hit him that Sirius might be a ghost wasn't Nearly-Headless
Nick, but the Bloody Baron?

The Baron, in his ominous way, offers condolences. Because of
Sirius' family, who was undoubtedly largely Slytherin -- it's
possible Sirius was the first non-Slyth -- the Baron would have
known Sirius well.

I do agree that there will be a bridge between Harry and House
Slytherin -- I don't agree that it's all on Harry to build it,
however -- and it would have been a neat start to have it be with
the ghost.

But what are your moments? Please, no, "Change that, JKR!"

Give how you'd have advised her to write it.

Know It' is mainly an excuse for drunk frat guys to shout, 'Leonard
