Would a Brit please expound on the "Fawkes the Phoenix" and "Guy
Fawkes Day" (etc.) connection? I have looked for this in the post
archives, but no luck. It's probably there somewhere... Guy Fawkes
was burned for treason, correct? So is the fire/bursting into flames
the only connection between the two?
And in relevance to the story - was the phoenix named after Guy, or
vice-versa, or not at all? Do we know how old Fawkes the phoenix is?
How is a phoenix born, anyway? The first time it is born, that is,
not re-born. Is a phoenix ageless?

Thanks, Anyone,
Candlewick
