I don't think Sprout and Flitwick are married.  I don't think 
McGonagall and Dumbledore are married either.  However, I don't see 
the problem with teachers married to each other.  I especially don't 
see a problem with married teacher in general.  Are you saying 
teachers shouldn't get married? (I know you're probably not, but 
that's what it sounds like you're saying.)

There were at least two married couples among the teachers at my 
school.  Plus a teacher married to the office secretary and a 
teacher married to the principle (though the teacher was there years 
before the principle).  And I went to a small school.  I don't think 
it's that uncommon.
