Lupin's Boggart- really the full moon?

I don't think you've answered Pippin's point, really. Remember
Harry's Patronus lessons, when the boggart affected him exactly like
a real dementor would. He got cold, he heard the voices *more
clearly than he had with the last real dementors.* He heard James
for the first time! So, if a boggart can *be* a dementor for Harry,
why does the silvery orb boggart have no effect at all on Lupin?
Sure, Lupin hates and fears the full moon. If that's what his
boggart turned into, who'd blame him? But the absence of any lunar
effects on Lupin is good cause to wonder if that silvery orb doesn't
indeed represent something else -- and a crystal ball or prophecy
orb would have no immediate observable effect on him, and so be
reasonable possibilities.
Or, it *could* be a flint! :)
