>>> Also, Does anyone have any thoughts on why Firenze would give up
his life in the Forbidden Forest to come and teach at the school, for
what Dumbledore MUST have know would be a short time? I mean, to
give up your community of family and freinds for a few months of
teaching? No matter how much Firenze thinks of Dumbledore this just
seemed foolish... unless there is more to come from Firenze... What
do you all think?<<<
Lady Macbeth:
I, like some others, believe that this was NOT a short-term arrangement for
Firenze. I think we will see a scenario much like Sibyll Trelawney's - even
if he's not teaching there, Dumbledore will choose to keep him inside the
castle.
Aside from that, I think he WILL continue to teach. If he doesn't continue
to teach Divinations as a join class of some sort with Trelawney, then I
think it's entirely possible that Dumbledore will start a "Centaur Studies"
class to parallel Muggle Studies. Remember, Dumbledore is of firm belief
that wizards should not only accept the other races, but also get along well
with them, and that he thinks having centaurs, werewolves, giants, et al on
their side in the coming battle is going to be extremely important.
