Me (Belsum):
I agree 100% with this. I still haven't found anything that explicitly
denies the possibility. Sure, the interpretations I'm making may be obtuse,
but logically they are reasonable ones, however improbable.

>I stil think that it is possible for
>people in the WW to make similar assumptions. If Lily grew up in a
>seemingly Muggle house, for whatever reason, wouldn't there be wizards
>that assume that she then was a "moodblood?"

Me (Belsum):
I think this is very likely. Or, what if her mother or father was a squib?
Would she still be Muggle-born? Neville says that his gran thought he was
"all-Muggle" before showing magical ability so how clear is the distinction?
Harry calls his mother Muggle-born this while in the Chamber with Tom
Riddle. But did anyone tell him? I feel like he's making the same
assumptions. "The Dursleys had always forbidden questions about his
wizarding relatives." (CoS: The Dueling Club) He knows nothing about his
family.

Basicly, who have we
>heard refer to Lily as a moodblood or of Muggle Parentage.. or rather
>who have we not heard say these things? (Dumbledore -- for one, I
>don't recall him ever making mention of Lily having Muggle Parents. If
>anyone knows otherwise, I'll gladly give up.)

Me (Belsum):
Excellent point! I keep scanning through the books looking for something
completely irrefutable but I haven't yet been able to satisfy myself.
