Reading this post had my curiosity juices flowing and so of course I
went back to the movie eager to find something. While it could be a
scene with an object or single person pivotal to a later event, I'm
thinking symbolism. I'll start explaining without going into too
much detail.

The scene I felt the movie could have done without yet still
meaningful, was the one after the parselmouth discovery- everyone
studying in silence while they are all glaring at Harry. The looks
on their faces range from fear, disgust, hatred (due to fear),
anxiety, and some a combination. From book to book Harry has been
under a microscope with the WW watching his every move while holding
in at least one of those feelings I previously mentioned at one
point or another. It also shows no matter how close Harry is to his
friends/confidants, they will never truly understand what he's had
to/will go through, and even they sometimes feel fearful/anxious
(fear FOR him, not OF him) around Harry.

Though I could be wrong, I really believe this is it. I mean it's a
theme that continues to pop up incessantly, and we as readers have
been enthralled in since the beginning of the series and continue to
dissect till this day.
