Marianne, I know exactly how you feel! Other than Harry and/or Ron,
Sirius was my favorite character. I was looking forward to OOtP (like
everyone else) because, obviously, I wanted to know what happened
next. But also, I was looking forward to seeing more of Sirius (we
didn't see enough of him in GOF, IMO) and learning more about him and
his past. Now that he is gone, part of the of the allure is gone. I
still love a lot of the characters and definitely look forward to the
next book, but it just won't be the same without Sirius. I'm really
anxious to see who Harry goes to for questions, advice, etc. now that
he doesn't have Sirius. And I also agree with what you said about the
Snape fans--if Snape had been the one to die, I think a lot more
people would feel the same way you and I do.
