I agree with you completely. I have thought the same thing. I think
Lupin is very proud and would probably only accept help from Sirius -
who is like a brother to him. When I read OoTP the first time I was
so thrilled to see Lupin living there with Sirius. I've never thought
of them as a couple, but more like brothers. They have both been
through hell, both lost alot and been very lonely and I was comforted
by the thought that they were hanging out together again and that
Lupin was being sort of cared for and fed, etc. I just wonder what
will happen to Remus now that Sirius is gone. My hope is that there
will be a big shake up at the Ministry and that one of the fall-outs
will be that that anti-werewolf legislation will be trashed. It would
be great to see Lupin go to work in the minitry - maybe in that
office that deals with 'beings' or whatever it was called (don't have
the book in front of me').
