right now sorry..LOL. But as for James and Sirius the one thing I
still don't get is we are making all of these judgements on these
people based on Snape's memory. Now granted I think it happened but
we don't know what could have possibly happened earlier to make them
mad. Or what all Snape has done. Personally, I think one Sirius's
main motivations for hating Snape is he was friends with Bella.
That's just my take on it...and we all know Bella is bad news.

I don't doubt that Snape thre the occassional hex. I am convinced,
though, that he was usually fairly innocent. Everything about his
body langue in that scene indicated to me that he was victim in a
near constant state of fear of being attacked. In addition, it was
Sirius saying he bored that prompted the attacked not a comment on
what Snape had done to them (or anyone else) yesterday.

Besides James hexed people just for fun. He did it to anyone who
annoyed him. Snape wasn't his only target, just his favorite. I
really think Sirius was a partner in all of this. I do admit though
that I have no hard evidence.

rather quickly but the one thing that stands out (in my mind) at
least is that if these guys are such horrible people. Why did they
risk their lives to help a friend? To spend time with him? I mean
that says a lot about people, they could have easily said "Well
remus I know it sucks but were still your friends" and that would be
the end of it. But know they went out and became animagsus. Now,
granted I don't think they cared about wheter or not it was illegal
but certainly, they cared about each other.

No. I never changed my mind on James and Sirius. I never had much
of an opinion on James, but I've always loathed Sirius. I never
liked him. When he said that Snape had deserved the life-
threatening prank dislike turned into hate. He still doesn't see
that what he did to Snape(any of it) was wrong.
