BUt that's the thing it is NOT a big deal, it's just as normal to pay
for education as it is for food, clothing, and everything else in
life.
As I said before the simplest explanation is almost always
the correct one. I go to a State run college. It is funded by the
State and Federal governments, along with Alumni. Not to
mention the millions coming in from football (which packs a
1000,000+ stadium every game) alone. And of course, we have the
number one women's Basketball program in the nation. We
rent out to conventions in the summer. With all this help, I still
have to pay 2,500 BEFORE food and shelter every year, and our
University is strapped for cash.

Hello all, Fred Waldrop here;
Megalynn, You mention that you HAVE to pay tuition to go to school,
therefore EVERYONE HAS to pay tuition. Then you mention that the
reason you HAVE to pay tuition is you go to collage. The problem with
your reasoning is, no one in Potterworld is in collage.
I went 12 years to school WITHOUT any tuition. (Grades 1-12). When I
went to collage, I HAD to pay tuition, not before. So, if HRH and the
rest of the students are going to school, (Grades approx. 6-12) and
not in a "higher education", (collage), why do you assume they HAVE
to pay tuition?
Now if in the UK EVERYONE HAS to pay some sort of tuition to go to
school from day one through collage, then maybe you have a point.
BUT, if the UK is like the US, and schooling is free (except school
supplies, clothing, ect) until one chooses to go to collage, you are
wrong in your assumptions.
