Now me, ereturtle18:
          In the book, the fact that the Malfoys had Dark Arts stuff 
hidden under the floorboards was never brought up in Borgin & Burkes.
Lucious merely stated, "I have a few -- ah -- items at home that 
might embarrass me, if the Ministry were to call." The Trio found 
out about the floorboards from Dobby, if memory serves in a later 
book when they were nicking food from the kitchens. In any case, Ron 
commented that he would tell Mr. Weasley about it, so Harry couldn't 
have heard it at Borgin & Burkes because Ron wasn't there. Sorry for 
the minor quibble.
