Actually, Aber means mouth, as in mouth of a river - we were just in
Wales 2 weeks ago, and had a short lesson on place names. We were
staying near Aberdyfi, the mouth of the Dyfi River.
There is a Forth River in the Scotish Highlands, and I've found
references to the Firth of Forth (an estuary) but not the a place
named Aberforth. I believe the mouth of the Forth river is near
Edinburg
