I think she meant an outstanding mark in potions.  The excerpt notes 
that in order to be an auror  you must have excellent marks in 
potions.  We all know who teaches potions and how he feels about 
Harry.  Snape is not a nice guy.  He's a bitter, angry, spiteful 
man.  Who for some reason does have extreme loyalty to DD.  Snape 
breaks Harry sample potion in this book.  I mean what kind of teacher 
does that. Getting an O in potions will be very difficult for 
Harry.
