More Dumbledore, chocolate frog theory

Harry recieved his DD card from a chocolate frog on his first train 
trip to Hogwarts.  SS, US hardback version page 102.  Ron mentions 
collecting them, but we never learn (or correct me...) if Harry 
keeps his.  I do not know if Dumbledore can 'visit' his cards.  I 
was thinking that DD has a ton of cards out there and may be able to 
use them for information gathering...
