I also think that there's quite a bit of circumstantial evidence 
surrounding Aberforth being the bar man. The bar man does look 
familiar to Harry (hmm, questionable, of course) and his description 
sounds like Dumbledore's. I found the anagram interesting. Another 
tidbit is that when Harry walks into the Hog's Head it smells like 
faintly like goat. In GoF, Dumbledore is about to tell a joke of 
questionable material (sounds like a bar joke), but he could have 
heard that anywhere.
