True enough, but, on the other hand, remember that Harry was the only
one of the kids left standing at the point when the Order came
charging in (and was in the process of handing over the prophesy, I
believe.) Even *with* Sirius there, the Order was outnumbered 2 to 1
by Death Eaters. During the battle, Tonks, Moody, Sirius and
Kingsley were all seriously disabled by the DEs (Hmmmmm, just noticed
that Lupin was absolutely fine---possible ammo for the ESE Lupin
crowd!) Perhaps if Sirius had stayed at GP to bring DD up to speed
things would have turned out better. But it is also possible that
the DEs would have defeated the Order more quickly and apparated out
of Dodge City with prophesy in hand *before* Dumbledore arrived. You
cannot deny that he kept Bellatrix busy for awhile and she seems to
be the most lethal member of the DE crowd (I think that she got
Sirius, Tonks and Kingsley. Makes you wonder what the rest of the
DEs were doing.)
Elle (also a parent. Personally, I couldn't *imagine* sitting at
home waiting while one of my children was in danger and others were
going to help. I with Sirius on this one

My reply: I don't know if I would say that Lupin was just fine. Harry noted that when he took Neville and him aside that it looked like it hurt to move. Now, I took this to be more that he was upset at the last of his "brother" but it could have been a physical pain. Either way, the guy was feeling something..at that momment.

Also, I just want to say that there is no way shape of form she can turn Lupin into an evil character in which I will not stop reading the book. Honestly...that is they way I feel about it.
