Hi Tj here: I have just been re-reading POA and at the end, while in
the Shreaking Shake, talking to Hermione, when she says she KNOWS he
is a werewolf. Lupin says of course you saw the full moon, from my
wand. (while fighting the Bogart). Lupin says it is a full moon. In
the Chapter Moony, Padfoot, wormtail, & Prongs.

Just wanted to let you know it is in canon that Lupin sees a full
moon. It is not an orb, regarding the propcey. in MoM. Lupin *is* a
werewolf. Yes, he is afraid of the moon. It changes him into a wild
beast, who could and would like to kill people. Lupin is afraid of
that *thing* he becomes, when the moon is full.
Poor Lupin. I really love his character. People shun him, because he
is a werewolf, but, he is the very gentlest and sweetest of people.
How sad, to be tortured by something that changes his mind is body and
yes even his soul for 3 days every month. Poor Prof. Lupin.
Tj....
